Job Summary:-
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our organisation. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals by accurately documenting patient encounters, medical histories, and treatment plans. Your meticulous attention to detail and efficient documentation will contribute to the smooth operation of our medical practice and ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accompany physicians and healthcare providers during patient encounters to accurately and efficiently document medical information in real-time.
- Record patient medical histories, symptoms, physical examination findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and other relevant information as dictated by the provider.
- Transcribe and organize medical notes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established medical terminology.
- Assist with documenting procedures, laboratory and imaging results, and other pertinent medical data.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems proficiently to enter and retrieve patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and timely documentation of patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations (HIPAA) at all times.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.
- Support providers in optimizing their workflow by managing administrative tasks related to documentation.
- Stay updated with medical terminology, procedures, and healthcare regulations to provide accurate documentation.
- Provide assistance in coordinating follow-up appointments, referrals, and other administrative tasks as required.
- Contribute to maintaining a professional and organized work environment within the medical department.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Biology, Pre-Med, Health Sciences, etc.) preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
- Excellent typing skills and proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
