Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, is a Super-Speciality teaching and training Medical Institution, situated to the Southeast of Lucknow city on Lucknow-Raebareli Road, and is nearly 12 Km from the main (Charbagh) railway station, Lucknow Airport and city center (Hazratganj). From the railway station, private buses (route 3) run to the Institute at short intervals. Alternatively, pre-paid auto-rickshaws taxis are also available for travel to the Institute.

Emoluments (monthly): Rs. 42,000+ 16% HRA
Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. in Life Science or related allied subjects from recognized University or equivalent with Four years’ of post qualification experience in Research and Development. OR Doctoral Degree in Life Science or equivalent from recognized University.
Desirable Qualification :
a) Applicant with strong research experience in Mammalian cell-culture, Molecular Virology, Biochemical analysis/ neutralization/serological assays/Protein purification along with data analysis & report writing proficiency,
b) Minimum two original published relevant research articles.

General Term sand conditions :
1. This post is entirely temporary, and the initial appointment is for one year, which may be extended subject to the satisfactory performance of the candidate and till the duration of the project. Those appointed to this position will not have any claims for regularization of their employment. The post can be terminated with one month’s notice from either side.
2. All educational, professional and technical qualifications should be from a recognized Board/University.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview.
4. Closing date of the advertisement will be crucial date for determining eligibility with regard to age, essential qualification etc.
5. The Director reserves the right to cancel the advertisement without assigning any reason
