Actalent is seeking Remote Pharmacy Technicians for a full time role!
Description: Pharmacy Technician working in the Appeals dept. They will be working with Medicare and Medicaid patients, mostly Medicare, working through denied Prior Authorizations. They will be then sending the case to Pharmacists for a final determination. They are expected to review the information provided, reach out for additional information, to then send the case to the Pharmacists to make the determine to either keep or over turn.

The calls are to Medicare/elderly members who are frustrated that their medication was denied, these are med/pharm medicine, mostly injectables done at a doctor’s office. Expect to make about 60 outbound calls per shift, these are not inbound calls.
- Must Have: -State Registered & Nationally Certified
- 1+ years of experience
- Available 10AM- 6:pm
- Detail Oriented
